CAMBRIDGE
The City of Cambridge is one of the most important and beautiful in the country, famous throughout the world for its University and colleges. Cambridge retains the ambience of a historic medieval town, yet it is also the birthplace of some of the most recent scientific advances.

Cambridge is a compact cosmopolitan city with outstanding architecture old and new. The beauty of its ancient centre is preserved with its walkable medieval streets, college courts, gardens and bridges. The City has many cafes and restaurants, serving a selection of food from around the world, together with traditional English cuisine and a lively bustling market square with a wide variety of shops. Cambridge also offers a choice of theatres, museums and cinemas. Classical music concerts and live music can be enjoyed in a number of traditional pubs.

One of the most enjoyable ways to see the City is by Punt! Punts were introduced as pleasure craft in Edwardian times, since then punting has become one of the most popular ways to see the famous bridges and colleges along the River Cam.

Cambridge is within easy reach of London, Heathrow and Stansted Airports, with good motorway, rail and bus connections to other parts of the United Kingdom. Within 2 miles (5 minutes) of M11 motorway and easy for the station; on the western edge of the City; yet just a short walk to the historical centre; with dedicated nearby parking, the College is convenience personified.

FROM LONDON STANSTED AIRPORT
London Stansted Airport is only 45 minutes away from Cambridge and is serviced by Easyjet and Ryan Air amongst other international airlines.

There is a direct train service from the airport to Cambridge City Centre. Trains depart at 30 minutes past each hour and the journey takes just over 30 minutes.

National Express coaches or taxis take approx 50 minutes.
