The
venue for the 13th conference will be at London University's Royal
Holloway College. Noted for the Founder's Building, which is modelled
on the Château de Chambord in the Loire Valley, the flamboyant
architecture make this one of the most spectacular university buildings
in the world. The College was officially opened by Queen Victoria
in 1886 and includes the world-famous Picture Gallery housing a unique
collection of Victorian paintings and Chapel with its fine reliefs
and vaulted plaster ceiling. |
The parkland campus, bordering Royal Windsor Great Park, is conveniently
situated 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport, 5 mins from the M25 motorway
(junc 13) and 35 minutes from London's Waterloo Station (Eurostar
services). The conference will have exclusive use of the Windsor
Lecture Building which offers state of the art meeting facilities.
There is ample car parking on campus.
The campus has a convenience store and bank. It is a short walk
(5mins) to the village of Englefield Green with its pubs and restaurants
and approx 10mins to Egham with it shops, banks, restaurants and
the mainline railway station. |

All
bedrooms have a private shower and wc and are a short walk distance
(3-5 mins) from the conference centre. Price includes breakfast
and all rooms are furnished with a standard double bed (135cm).
A kitchen and dining area are shared between 6 rooms on a private
corridor.

The university accommodation we are using for delegates offers a
good standard of rooms which have double beds and private showers,
wc and basins. There are tea and coffee making facilities and internet
access.
The new accommodation wings(built to host the Olympics teams in
2012) are a 5 minute stroll through parkland to the Windsor Building
where the conference will be held. Breakfast and lunch will be held
in the "The Hub" which is mid-way between the accommodation
buildings and the Conference hall. There is ample car-parking on
site for guests.

the mainline railway station. A regular bus service runs from the
campus to the railway station.
