RELEASE:
As
of 1st October 2009, Interscience Communications Limited has
acquired a fire research and testing laboratory at Gosport,
Hampshire from QinetiQ, an international
provider of technology-based services.
Interscience
currently operates both a fire research division and the communication
division that produces world leading fire research conferences
(Interflam, Fire & Materials, Flame Retardants, Human
Behaviour in Fire etc). Interscience’s Director Steve
Grayson and Laboratory Manager Suresh Kumar
have previously managed large fire testing laboratories.
Director,
Steve Grayson says, “The former QinetiQ test facility
will continue to be based at the Haslar QinetiQ site and we
are pleased that Cuthbert Chong previously
Manager of the laboratory will join the Interscience team
to facilitate a seamless transition
Interscience
and QinetiQ will continue to cooperate in fire research projects
and to partner in broader based projects. |
