Fire and Materials 2013 Download Call for Papers
Fire and Materials is a major international forum on fire performance of materials and products. The conference focuses the needs of manufacturers, their customers, designers and regulators, who require up-to-date information on fire issues, including new materials, applications, assessment techniques and regulatory requirements.

The conference also addresses specific issues and general updates in the fire safety field, and over the last decade, due to demand, has introduced significant parallel session on Fire Investigation, and Wild land / Urban interface.

Technical Presentations
The Programme Committee has targeted specific areas for presentation and invites papers on the following:

• Fire Safety Engineering
• Fires in Building
• Cables and other Electro-technical Applications
• Furniture and Furnishings
• Wildland fires and the Built Environment Interface
• Fire Dynamics
• Transportation
• Fire Investigation
• Flame Retardants and new FR Applications
• Modelling

Papers that discuss new applications of materials for enhanced fire safety are also welcome.

Commercial Presentations
The commercial session enables producers to give brief (10 minutes) presentations describing their companies’ new products and/or capabilities in tune with the general conference theme. Space available is limited and interested companies should contact the organisers as soon as possible.

Submission Dates
250 word abstract to be sent for review to the organisers before July 31st, 2012.

Authors will be advised of acceptance by September 15, 2012.

A final version of the full paper is required by December 12, 2012. The full paper will published in the conference CD and extended abstracts will be published in the delegate handbook.

1 speaker per technical paper will be entitled to register for the conference at a subsidised rate.
