Interscience
Communications Ltd established in 1987, is the organiser
of premier international conferences in the fire science and engineering
field such as Interflam, Human Behaviour in Fires and Fire and Materials.
In addition to the regular conference series’ individual seminars
are organised to highlight and discuss topical subjects, e.g Toxicity
and Smoke and short courses taught by world experts such as Vyto
Babrauskas, (Principles of Electrical Fires and Explosions), Marcelo
Hirschler and Marc Janssens (Regulatory Fire Testing) are run in
conjunction with major events.
Our conference proceedings and individual papers are available for purchase through our on-line publications shop. As well as our own programmes the conference team provide a service to organise relevant events for other organisations. For
the past 10 years Interscience Communications has provided the Secretariat
and offices for the International
Association for Fire Safety Science and symposium proceedings
can be purchased via the online bookshop. |
The
Fire Testing and Consultancy Team enjoys a reputation for
professional service, data interpretation and project management
by a team of leading international consultants. The main laboratory is housed at facilities in Gosport (formerly Qinetiq), where it provides a wide range of fire test facilities to an international cliental from as far afield as China, Canada, Germany, Iran, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, USA.
